Zip World Velocity
101 Acoustics Ltd. completed the BS4142:2014 Noise Impact Assessment for the successful expansion of Zip World Velocity site in Bethesda. This followed the acoustic consultancy and noise impact assessment for the development of Zip World Titan at Blaenau Ffestiniog. Our team worked diligently to ensure that the acoustic requirements were met with after liaison with the Local Authority, delivering exceptional results for our client.
Good Hope Hospital
101 Acoustics provided design advice and testing to achieve the performance standards go HTM08-01 - Acoustics in Healthcare spaces for the Ward Block 1 project at Good Hope Hospital Sutton Coldfield. Sound insulation, reverberation time and the acoustic environment of each area were specified for compliance on this BREEAM scheme. A Noise Impact Assessment in accordance with BS4142:2014 was also completed to ensure noise from all plant associated with the development was compliant with Local Authority requirements,
Ysgol Nant Y Groes
A Reverberation Time (RT) assessment was carried out at a school hall at Ysgol Nant Y Groes following complaints from teaching staff of excessive noise in a mixed use hall at the school. The RT of the hall was measured and acoustic absorbers specified to achieve the performance requirements of Building Bulletin 93 (BB93) - Acoustics in Schools. Acoustic products were specified and the locations of the required panels marked up on plans of the hall to alleviate the issue, with great success.
The Grosvenor Estate
101 Acoustics completed a noise impact assessment for a proposed clay pigeon shooting skeet at the Grosvenor Estate in Aldford. Liaising with the ground management team at the site, test shots were arranged and repeatedly fired to allow noise measurements to be gathered to support the planning application of the skeet, with a full Noise Impact Assessment being supplied to satisfy the requirements of the Local Authority Environmental Health Department.
